Get Ritual is a one shot documentary of a collective performance in
Copenhagen. There are no cuts or edits and the sound is all live. That’s the
short explanation. The longer one mentions that “Get Ritual” is the first video
in a series. The second one is tentatively called “A Show of Hands” and
preparation for this is underway in Baltimore. The performances and videos are
instigated by Brandon Davis, a musician and artist from various times and
places. Davis has spent the last few years traveling and working with musicians,
artists and collectives in an effort to bring awareness to the size and shape of
the community that was referred to in olden times as “underground
culture.”
